Social media users are speculating about Donald Trump‘s health after video from his weekend golf outing appeared to show him limping.
Video shared by Aleman’s Brothers LLC, a grounds-keeping company that appears to service Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, showed the 78-year-old president hitting the golf course in sunny Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday afternoon.
Trump, in the now-viral footage, appeared to struggle as he exited his golf cart, seemingly dragging his right leg as he teed up to take his swing.
Social media users were quick to question the President’s wellness. with many asking: ‘Is something wrong with Trump’s legs?’
One X user claimed ‘Trump moves his right leg like a piece of wood’, while others tweeted that his legs appeared to be ‘far from stable’, ‘wobbly’ and ‘pigeon-toed’.
Some baselessly suggested he may be suffering from ‘weak knees’ or battling something like a ‘neuromuscular degenerative issue’.
Team Trump furiously shot down claims about the President’s health in a statement issued Monday morning.
Spokesman Steven Chueng said: ‘Deranged and morally bankrupt liberals — including corrupt media — have now resorted to complete falsehoods and fabricated lies because they have no shame.
‘Instead, they spend every waking hour of their pathetic lives suffering from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted their brain.’
Speculation over Trump’s legs comes just one week after X erupted with a flood of theories about the President’s health after he was spotted with a yellow and purple bruise on his hand during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Social media users flooded X with messages of concern and conspiracy theories about Trump’s legs on Sunday as the golfing video went viral.
‘What’s up with Trump’s leg,’ one X user questioned.
‘Any geriatricians around?’ asked another. ‘What’s wrong with Trump’s legs/gait? He’s moving knock kneed and swinging his right leg like it’s dead weight?!’
One user added: ”What’s up with his right leg + foot? Looks all wobbly + pigeon-toed.’
Another user said it appeared that Trump was ‘struggling to step out of a cart’ and that his legs were ‘looking for from stable’.
Others suggested the President could be suffering from a myriad of health conditions, although it is unclear on what authority – if any – they had to make these hypotheses.
‘Trump has a bilateral drop foot,’ tweeted a woman whose profile suggests she is a registered nurse. ‘U can see his right brace, under his pant leg.’
She further claimed that Trump will be ‘using a walker soon’ and that ‘POTUS is UNWELL’.
Another user claimed that ‘dragging his leg is a neurodegenerative disease symptom’. The user further claimed that Trump has ‘advancing dementia’, is ‘senile’ and ‘morbidly obese’.

Trump has faced criticisms about the mobility of his right leg for many years now, with speculation about an underlying health condition really ramping up last year.
Video of Trump ‘dragging his leg’ at a campaign rally went viral in March last year after MAGA critic Ron Filipkowski shared it on X.
‘Something is definitely going on with his right leg. He’s been dragging it for months,’ Filipkowski, the editor-in-chief of left-wing MeidasTouch Network, tweeted at the time.
A similar video, captured in February 2024, showed Trump limping as he walked into a room of cheering supporters.
‘Still dragging that right leg,’ Filipkowski said of footage, to which his followers replied that Trump seems ‘really unhealthy’. Some suggested he suffered a ‘stroke’ while others alleged that ha may be battling ‘gout’ from eating ‘too many cheeseburgers’.
A month prior, the Trump critic shared footage of the then-presidential nominee delivering pizza to firefighters before the Iowa caucuses.
Trump’s leg appeared to drag behind him as he carried the stack of pizzas and walked across the fire station.
In October last year, when Trump debuted the MAGA garbage truck, he also appeared to use only his right leg as he stepped onto the vehicle.
The President has seemingly been managing his apparent leg drag for several years now. He made headlines in July 2020 – during his first Oval Office term – for apparently dragging his right leg during a visit to a lab in North Carolina.

The latest wave of criticism comes after social media users hit out at Trump last week over a large bruise on his right hand. Many spewed baseless conspiracy theories that the White House was actively ‘hiding’ a potentially ‘serious’ medical condition.
Photos of the yellow and purple bruise emerged after Trump, 78, met with Macron at the White House last Monday to discuss a possible end to Russia‘s war against Ukraine.
A White House official said the bruise was from shaking hands with hundreds of people on the campaign trail and in his regular duties.
But Dr Stuart Fischer – an internal medicine physician in New York – told DailyMail.com that while an ‘aggressive’ handshake could partly be to blame, Trump’s age may also provide a clue.
He explained old age naturally weakens blood vessels and makes them more ‘brittle,’ which makes bruising ‘on any part of the body’ much more likely and severe. He highlighted Trump is the second-oldest president in US history.
Osteoarthritis, an age-related disease that breaks down cartilage and bone in the joints, could be another possibility, Dr Fischer said, as it can cause easy bruising or discoloration around affected joints in the hand.
‘I think it’s probably all of those things together,’ he said.

Last week, social media users expressed concern about President Donald Trump’s health after spotting a large bruise on his right hand. Photos of the bruise emerged after Trump, 78, met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the White House on February 24, 2025
Trump and Macron, 47, awkwardly shook hands three times during their meeting in DC, with the pair even gripping onto each other for a prolonged 12 seconds as they were reunited.
The duo, whose uncomfortable ‘death clasp’ handshakes have gone viral over the years, later shared two further awkward physical encounters.
Social media flooded X with unsubstantiated theories about Trump’s bruise, with the most popular being that it was caused by an IV. One even noted that the bruising ‘always seems to be on the same hand’.
‘I think it kinda looks like an IV bruise. Like he’s been dehydrated and given fluids. Or maybe he’s vitamin deficient?’ one X user speculated. ‘But that’s what kind of bruise it looks to be.’
‘It appears to be an IV bruise and it happens a lot to Trump. There are a lot of pics with bandages and bruises,’ another echoed.
Dr Neal H Patel, a primary care physician at Providence St Joseph Hospital in California, told DailyMail.com the bruise could be from a blood draw or IV infusion poking through weak blood vessels.
Both doctors agreed that while the bruise appears alarming, it’s ‘unlikely’ the president has a serious health condition.
