The Comet Pickleball Club will be holding its very first session at Stowupland Sports Centre on Tuesday evening between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
Pickleball is a racket sport, that resembles tennis and table tennis, but has its own special plastic ball, specific rules and is played with a lowered net.

Joseph Gleed, 26, from Needham Market, who is a level one coach and one of the highest-ranked players in the country, is launching the new club.
Mr Gleed says: “I am really excited to be opening Comet Pickleball Club.
“I fell in love with the sport almost 2 years ago after an ankle injury.

“The great thing about pickleball is that it is relatively low impact, making it accessible to a larger pool of people.
“I can’t wait to pass on my knowledge and skills to aspiring players in the Stowmarket area.”
The sessions will take place every Tuesday from 7.30pm. (Image: Comet Pickleball Club) This comes as a new £2.4m sports complex was recently approved to be built on the land surrounding Stowmarket High School and Chilton Fields.
