Omni Retail Enterprises, a newly formed U.S.-based operator of several digital lifestyle and apparel brands, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Sharon Leite to the role of chief executive officer.
A retail industry veteran, Leite is charged with leading Omni’s portfolio of brands, which include DressBarn and Pier1.com, as well as the intellectual property of luxury fashion brand Ralph & Russo and Modell’s Sporting Goods.
With over 25 years of leading consumer and retail businesses across a range of industries, from apparel, consumer-packaged goods, health and wellness and home, Leite joins Omni from Ideal Image, where served as CEO, leading a transformation and brand-growth strategy to the firm’s growing aesthetics, beauty and wellness categories. Prior to Ideal Image, she was CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe.
Earlier in her career, Leite held executive leader roles at Godiva Chocolatier, Pier 1 Imports, Bath & Body Works, Gap Inc., and The Walt Disney Company. She currently serves on the boards of Lovesac, and The M. J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.

Omni was officially formed last month as a “global e-commerce company composed of lifestyle brands focused on elevating the shopping experience,” according to a press release.

We have a remarkable opportunity to accelerate growth by expanding into new channels and categories to make these iconic brands more accessible to consumers, while honoring their heritage.,” said Leite.
