Temperley London has opened a new London flagship on Sloane Street reflecting the high-end fashion brand’s “signature ethos and bohemian romanticism” that’s reflected in its colourful interior design.
Located on one of London’s top luxury shopping streets, the new flagship is a sizeable space across two floors, offering the label’s ready-to-wear, eveningwear, heritage gowns, accessories, and bridal.
The ground floor is focused on ready-to-wear and accessories, with leopard velvet seating areas, Romo wall coverings and drapes, chandeliers and rugs.
On the lower ground floor shoppers will find what the company says is a “Bridal and Heritage wonderland in a decadent private area” with Leopard sofas and a vintage mirrored bar “from which to enjoy a sip of Champagne.
Bridal appointments are available, as are bespoke tailoring services, personal and virtual shopping.
The opening come just under a year after a controlling stake in the business was sold to Dubai-based Times Square Group and its investment arm Luxutte Capital, with the aim being to double down on the brand’s strength in the UAE but also to take it to the next level globally.
The UAE is a very important to the Temperley business and the company has boutiques in its premier luxury retail destinations, including the Dubai Mall, and The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
But the central London luxury market is also crucial to the business as the new opening proves. London’s luxury market was sent reeling by the pandemic but has recovered strongly in recent periods, despite the absence of tax-free shopping for tourists.
