Gulf Air is set to launch a new service between London Gatwick and Bahrain from March 30, 2025.
The airline will operate flights three times a week on this route on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Gulf Air will use Boeing 789 Dreamliner aircraft for this service. This addition comes alongside Gulf Air’s established double-daily flights to London Heathrow.
The airline also maintains five weekly flights to Manchester. The new Gatwick route strengthens Gulf Air’s UK network to three British airports.

Gulf Air highlighted the significance of this new route in connecting the two nations.
The airline said: “This new route enhances connectivity, offering more travel options for your customers while reinforcing our commitment to expanding Gulf Air’s network.”
The carrier emphasised the strategic importance of the expansion.
Gulf Air added: “It marks a significant step in strengthening the vital links between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.”
Wizz Air has also announced new routes from the UK to Italy, set to launch on June 16, 2025.
The airline’s new route will go from Birmingham to Rome Fiumicino and will operate three times per week, with fares starting from £31.99.
Tickets are already available for purchase on wizzair.com and through the airline’s official mobile app.
The new route marks an expansion of Wizz Air’s UK operations, offering more British travellers the opportunity to visit the Italian capital.
