EA Restaurant Ltd is applying for permission to take over the Post Office at unit 40 of the Pollok retail complex.
The new Scallop’s Tale would serve food both at the venue and for takeaway.
According to documents, there would be 34 seats at the eatery.

Scallop’s Tale is a seafood restaurant known for its fish and chips but they also serve pasta, burgers and more.
If successful, this will be the second venue of owners Dr Usman Qureshi and wife Shafea.
The existing restaurant, of the same name, is located at 7 Roman Road, Bearsden and opened in 2022.
The bid for the new venue is under consideration by Glasgow City Council planning officials and a decision is expected by Friday, December 13.
