Fashion retailer New Look has been chosen as the exclusive launch platform for Rise Black Label, the latest ready-to-wear collection from television broadcaster and content creator Zara McDermott.
It follows the success of the initial Rise foundation collection at Tesco’s clothing brand F&F, with McDermot expanding the line, and introducing “elevated winter, everyday, and lounge fashion pieces”.
New Look will hold the exclusive online partnership for the autumn/winter season.
Developed in a link with Luminoso Brands, the licensing and marketing arm of the Poeticgem group, the collection is described as a “gym-to-brunch athleisure-inspired mix-and-match range”, designed to “seamlessly transition from activewear to casual, everyday outfits”.
A key feature of the collection is its curated colour palette “which serves as the foundation for the brand and will continue to evolve and expand with each new season”.
Neutral tones and “timeless” shades dominate allowing pieces from the collection to be mixed and matched.
“This base palette ensures that every piece can be easily integrated into existing wardrobes while providing a cohesive look that can be built upon in future collections”, McDermott noted.
Key pieces include a supersoft snit and chunky true knitwear, fashion athleisurewear in gym-resistant soft stretch fabric. The collection mixes different weight fabrics for ease of cohesive layering.
The range sn sized 8 to 22 and prices range from £20 to £45.
McDermott said of her collection: “After the fantastic response to our white label this year… we’ve been adventurous with shapes and cuts, but kept it tonal so you can still mix and match pieces [while] some of our core fabrics have been elevated further.
“I know that Rise will sit so well as part of the New Look family and I am incredibly grateful to have them as part of the Rise journey.”
Sarah Betts, Commercial director at New Look, added: The brand fits perfectly with our mission of offering inclusive and stylish options for all women. The collection features comfort and fashion-forward designs and Zara’s vision for the brand really resonates with our customer.”
While having just launched online, McDermott will also be at New Look’s Trafford centre store on 15 November showcasing the collection within a Rise pop-up area.
