Up to 20 jobs have been created by the latest opening of a Bolton autocare centre by HiQ and Carsa.
Situated on the town’s Morris Street, the investment is part of the strategic partnership between Birmingham-based HiQ and Carsa, the Southampton-based used car business.
The opening, together with another site in Leicestershire, builds on the success of their existing partnership, which began last year with the opening of two dual-branded centres in Cannock and Halesowen.
The partnership combines HiQ’s nationwide autocare expertise with Carsa’s rapidly growing dealership model.
HiQ, backed by tyres group Goodyear, operates a nationwide network of 190 autocare centres across the UK.
Founded in 2020, Carsa has expanded to ten locations, offering a diverse selection of high quality, pre-owned vehicles.
By combining vehicle sales, servicing, tyre fitting, and MOT testing under one roof, the two partners introduced a customer-focused approach, which has paved the way for further expansion.
Craig Sprigmore, Goodyear retail director UK & Ireland, said: “The success of our first dual-branded sites proved the value of integrating vehicle sales with expert servicing, so we’re excited to bring this winning formula to even more customers.
“This is just the beginning of a nationwide roll-out that will redefine the automotive retail experience.”
Visham Joshi, head of service, Carsa, said: “These new locations represent another step toward our goal of providing motorists with a fully integrated, high quality buying and aftersales experience. We’re thrilled with the progress so far and look forward to expanding even further.”
