M&S has released the latest collection for its successful Goodmove activewear label with a new campaign starring ambassador Alex Scott.
The company underlined how strong a year 2024 was for the brand with more than 1.35 million customers searching for sportswear on M&S.com.
The top search term was ‘Sports Bras’ (with 200,000 searches) followed by ‘Goodmove’ (160,000 searches).
It added that M&S.com sees searches for sportswear typically peak the week before Christmas and in 2023, searches for Goodmove were up 214% for the week starting 17 December, showing customer demand for activewear starts before the Christmas break.
The latest offering for women continues to focus on the “revitalising pillars comprising yoga, outdoor, running and training”.
It features a seasonal palette of cool blue and burgundy, with mix and match joggers, sweatshirts, quilted jackets, long sleeve tees, gilets, running jackets and more.
The best-selling Go Move leggings, selling over a million units to date, receive a print update this season. With a graphic design featuring blurred strokes in brown, burgundy and cream. The four-way stretch fabric for spring also now comes with full Sun Smart UPF50+ protection.
Also new for the season is the 360 reflective running jacket and matching double-layered shorts.
And the sports bra collection that has seen a 20% increase in sales year on year features updated styles such as the Non-Wired Custom Fit Sports Bra, and the Ultimate Support Sports Bra with zip detail. They’re also updated in the new season print which co-ordinates back with the Go Move legging.
