Yoox Net-A-Porter’s (YNAP) luxury menswear platform Mr Porter has collaborated with premium fashion brand Stone Island to launch an exclusive limited-edition Ghost capsule collection.
The supporting imagery features British actor and writer Russell Tovey, one of Stone Island’s autumn/winter ambassadors.
Based on the concept of camouflage, Stone Island Ghost’s entirely monochromatic 13-piece collection is available in a deep grey colourway.
Outerwear is a core focus within the collection and features a down jacket made of fine merino worsted wool twill, which has been garment dyed and resin coated inside alongside a field jacket made from Ventile, a UK fabric developed using the finest, long staple cotton fibre.
Both outerwear styles offer “excellent weather barrier benefits from the combination of dense weaving and swelling properties of the fibres when wet”. The collection also includes an overshirt and zip-up bomber jacket. Aside from outerwear, knitwear, polo-shirts and cargo trousers round off the range, again in monochromatic grey.
Prices for the collection range from £385 to £2,310.
Mr Porter has enjoyed strong associations with collabs and campaigns this year including ‘Made with Craft’ linking with niche brands A Kind of Guise, Corridor, Kardo, Kartik Research, Jacques Marie Mage, Story Mfg, Stòffa, SSAM and The Elder Statesman, as well as an earlier tie-up with the Kingsman movie franchise.
