Upscale accessories and luggage brand Moynat has been busy at Harrods, exclusively taking over the luxury store’s Brompton Road windows.
It said the partnership between Moynat and Harrods “highlights a shared commitment to excellence and creativity, making this campaign display a must-see event”.
Established in 1849 and specialising in trunk making, its founder Pauline Moynat, “invented” the ‘English Trunk’ and in the early 1900s the ‘M’ monogram was added and hand-painted on the trunks’ canvas as the signature of the house.
“The M collection is the latest expression of this archive monogram, a fusion between the house’s traditional heritage and ongoing commitment to contemporary innovation”, Moynat said.
The collection is available in a variety of colours ranging from red, blue, green, yellow, orange to black and white, brown, and grey.
Meanwhile, its reimagined bag shapes include totes in small, medium, and large sizes, 48h duffle bag, mini 48h, bucket bag, camera bag, besace bag, and in hard-sided versions like the little suitcase and wheel. Passport and cardholders, as well as address tags are also part of the collection.
The accompanying collection campaign was shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch and features models Abby Champion and He Cong “showcasing a sense of exhilaration, optimism, and liberation that resonates with the house spirit”.
