The opening of a new fast-food restaurant is set to create more than 100 jobs in a Suffolk town.
Recruitment has now started for the McDonald’s drive-thru in Haverhill which will open at the end of June.
In an advert posted on social media, McDonald’s said it was looking for between 100 to 130 staff to fill full and part-time roles at the restaurant in Bumpstead Road.
Despite concerns being raised over access, safety and traffic, final approval for the McDonald’s restaurant was given by Braintree District Council’s (BDC) planning committee last summer.
Another new McDonald’s is set to open on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds later this year.
The chain will open its new eatery at Spenhill Retail Park, Martlesham Heath, on June 19.
