Another month, another new arrival at Milton Keynes’ popular centre:mk mall. This time it’s British womenswear brand Mint Velvet opening within the centre’s premium Silbury Arcade.
Spanning 2,100 sq ft, the store offers Mint Velvet’s latest collection of womenswear, footwear, and accessories.
Designed by London-based StudioJill, the interior reflects the brand’s “distinct ‘Relaxed Glamour’ identity”.
And positioned as one of Mint Velvet’s “key locations”, its arrival further solidifies centre:mk’s “reputation for premium retail”, joining peers Reiss, Jigsaw, Phase Eight, and The White Company, alongside Mango and H&M.
Last month, premium beauty brand Space NK also announced it was to open a store pre-Christmas and fashion footwear brand Office opens this autumn with a 5,400 st ft store on Silbury Arcade.
Kevin Duffy, centre:mk’s Centre Director, said: “With a large affluent catchment area, this new Mint Velvet’s boutique is a welcome addition to our premium offer which further enables us to cater to our customers’ demand for premium womenswear. The opening… reflects the brand’s confidence in our centre and further reinforces centre:mk’s status as a leading UK shopping destination in the region and beyond.”
The Mint Velvet also opening follows the recent success of the centre’s autumn/winter trend-driven Fashion Weekend, attended by over 113,600 visitors.
