London Broncos head coach Mike Eccles is among the nominees for the 2024 Super League Coach of the Year award.
Eccles receives a nomination even though his side finished bottom of the Super League table this season.
Despite this they remained competitive and only narrowly missed out on finishing in 11th position.
His nomination comes a year after being named the 2023 Championship Coach of the Year having steered the Broncos to a surprise promotion in their play-off grand final against Toulouse Olympique.
As well as Eccles, Wigan Warriors boss Matt Peet, Hull KR’s Willie Peters and Salford Red Devils’ Paul Rowley have also been nominated for the award.
Peet receives his nomination having led Wigan to a historic win over NRL premiers Penrith Panthers in this year’s World Club Challenge.
His team also won this season’s Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield in an impressive campaign for the Cherry and Whites.
Peters is nominated having taken his KR side to second position in Super League and a play-off semi-final having continued to impress in his second season in charge of the club.
Rowley is named after leading Salford to fourth position this term and the play-offs for the second time in three seasons.
