Max Mara is taking its next cruise collection on the road again, this time to the legendary Bay of Naples.
“The Max Mara Resort 2026 experience, including the runway show, will take place in Naples, Italy on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th of June 2025,” the Italian fashion giant revealed Tuesday.
Max Mara did not reveal the exact location of the show, nor what else it meant by “experience.”
The show will mark the second time Max Mara has taken its resort collection to the region. In June 2021, the house staged a gala show at Mezzatore Hotel and Spa on the island of Ischia, on the norther edge of the Bay of Naples. Inspired by Truman Capote’s springtime sojourn on Ischia in the 1950s, it featured an ode to the writer’s legendary swans with a collection of patrician elegance.
Under its British-born creative director Ian Griffiths, Max Mara has specialized in staging highly sophisticated shows and collections inside prestigious art foundations.
In a veritable tour of the world, previous Max Mara shows have been staged in Berlin’s Neues Museum, New York’s Whitney Museum and Lisbon’s Gulbenkian Institute. Plus, the brand has staged show spectaculars in Tokyo, Shanghai and, most recently in May of this year, in Venice’s Palazzo Ducale.
