Mark Pope’s Wildcats open season vs. Wright State
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) – The UK men’s basketball team will make its season debut inside Rupp Arena against Wright State tonight.
First-year head coach Mark Pope and the Cats won both of their early exhibitions against Kentucky Wesleyan and Minnesota-State Mankato.

Kentucky beats Minnesota State by 31 points in final exhibition
The official start of the Kentucky basketball season is less than one week away but before the Wildcats start the regular season hosting Wright State, they Wildcats had a dominate showing in another exhibition game, this time against Minnesota State Mankato.
UK will tip off against Wright State at 7:00 p.m. You can watch the game on ESPNU.
