The Kentucky Wildcats are working to add a final piece to their 2025 class as Mark Pope and his staff look to make their mark on the high school recruiting trail.
With an already impressive class incoming, the UK staff is swinging for the fences as they look to land a top-five player.
Nate Ament is a name that should be familiar with the BBN, as his name has been circulated as a potential option for the entire high school season. However, things now seem to be getting serious as Mark Pope looks to close the gap.
That could be happening as, according to a report by Dushawn London of 247 Sports, Coach Pope is scheduled to be in for Ament’s senior night tonight.
After a visit to Lexington earlier this week, a quick turnaround visit to his school is eye-opening. Reports after the visit to Lexington were that it went well, and the Cats had closed some ground.
The question remained: Was it enough to overtake Duke and Louisville?
That question might get an answer sooner rather than later. Let’s hope this visit leads to some more good news. Overall, though, this is an eye-opening emoji for sure.
