Dorset Police and the ambulance service were alerted to an incident in the Boscombe Sovereign Centre car park at around 7am on January 28.
Multiple police cars, a forensic van and ambulances were seen in the area at the time of the incident.
A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 7.20am on Tuesday 28 January 2025 of a man in his 40s requiring medical attention in the car park of the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe.
“Officers attended and very sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following enquiries, his death is not being treated as suspicious.
“His next of kin has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
