A man had social media users in stitches with his hilarious two-word response to a woman who refused to move so people could use the toilet on a plane.
Fred Asquith, a musician from Yorkshire now living in London, is known for sharing funny stories online, from wedding planning videos to travel mishaps. The 31-year-old has amassed over 379,000 followers on social media.
Recently, he went viral after posting a funny story about a trip to Berlin with his fiancée, during which they unintentionally annoyed a fellow passenger on their flight home.
In a video that garnered over 10,000 likes, Fred explained that he and his partner were sitting by the window, while the frustrated woman was sitting in the aisle seat.
Once the seatbelt sign turned off, the couple needed to get up to use the toilet, meaning the woman had to let them out and back in. Fred said: “She’s huffy that we’re pushing past and go for a wee. I come back first and she says to me, ‘Do you think we should wait for your girlfriend to come back before I get up?'”

He assured her there was no need to wait for his fiancée before letting him return to his seat, but the woman, clearly annoyed, asked to be moved elsewhere.
The couple were puzzled by her bad mood, but later got the perfect opportunity to return the favour with just two words. Fred continued: “At the end of the flight — one of the best moments of my life. We’re all getting up, getting our bags, the big rush when the plane lands.
“She comes squirming back through everyone. Excuse me, excuse me. Oh, who wants to be excused now, huh? She gets to me and I go ‘You’re excused.'”
In the caption, Fred joked that the woman might have “thought she’d booked a private jet”. TikTok users found the story hilarious, though opinions were divided over who was in the right.
One user commented: “‘You’re excused’ It’s the little victories.” Another disagreed, saying: “You’re in the wrong here,” while a third joked: “I need a private jet, planes are too peoply for me.”
