Gucci, which will open on one of the country’s most prestigious shopping streets, is the Italian fashion giant’s only UK standalone retail offering outside London.
The store will open on Multrees Walk in Edinburgh, joining other luxury fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Burberry.

Whilst the store is officially open to the public from Friday at 10am, a formal launch is set to take place next week.
According to The Herald, the company behind the retail unit also own the unit which houses Uniqlo on Princes Street.
The Japanese fashion retailer opened its first Scottish store in April, with plans to open a second in Glasgow in the coming months.
The Gucci store will be open from 10am to 6pm.
