Mark Pope made his AAU debut as the Kentucky men’s basketball head coach on Friday. Alongside assistant Jason Hart, the two were roaming the Pacers Athletic Center in Indianapolis all night long to check out their top high school targets. This is the first session in which college coaches are allowed in attendance, so it was a who’s who of the best at their craft.
Saturday’s schedule is even more packed, with games running from early in the morning to late in the evening. Pope and Hart were in the building bright and early, but so was another familiar face: Arkansas head coach John Calipari.
