Lone Design Club is back in Islington Square with its ‘Summer Retreat At The Club’ fashion pop-up store that’s part of the wider plastic-free July initiative.
Taking place from 10 July, the pop-up will offer a curated selection of “sustainable and ethically produced high-fashion apparel and accessories” from a variety of digital-native brands.
Covering 1,500 sq ft, LDC said it’s offering “a unique and conscious shopping experience” with each item selected “for both performance and the planet”.
There will also be a schedule of immersive events designed to both appeal to customers and also raise their awareness about sustainability.
That includes workshops and LDC’s weekly ‘sip and shop’ events, giving attendees the chance to “meet the designers, delve into their inspiring stories, and gain insights into sustainable fashion practices and the importance of ethical production”.
The company said “visitors can expect to find innovative designs and exclusive pieces unavailable in traditional retail outlets”.
The brands taking part include Mini Cyber that mixes futurism and tech with eco-friendly pieces; Organic Hanger’s naturally dyed garments; the traditional techniques and contemporary style of Safarahh Designs that tells “a story of cultural heritage and sustainable practices”; the handmade, ethically-produced accessories of Dorota Bojanowska; and the minimalist clothing featuring sustainable materials of Azaleri.
