LK Bennett has opened a new store on Brompton Road in London’s upscale Knightsbridge neighbourhood, with the company saying the new location sits alongside its shop on New Bond Street as one of its flagships.
Meanwhile, the company’s nearby location on Sloane Square will be moving to a smaller boutique space that will open later this year.
The new Knightsbridge store is located at 39-41 Brompton Road with the company saying it “incorporates fresh and contemporary comfort”. It has tiled flooring, brass fixtures and jewel-covered velvet upholstery.
But we’re told by the company that it has a minimalist feel that “allows the product to sing”. That includes the shoes for which the brand was originally known, as well as its clothing and other accessories.
In fact, the Knightsbridge store will offer the complete AW24 line-up, which is available in sizes 6 to 20, including the Signature collection, petites the Ascot collection for the jump season (it’s the official Ascot womenswear sponsor), alongside other lines.
CEO Darren Topp said that many of its customers already frequent the Knightsbridge area.
He added that the company believes in physical retail and alongside growing its digital business is continuing to look for physical store opportunities both in the UK and abroad.
