Liverpool One already has had a successful 2024, but that’s not enough for operator Grosvenor as the shopping/entertainment hub continues to be a retail magnet.
It’s now announced a trio of retail signings and a key relocation as the city centre venue continues to evolve and strengthen its South John Street attraction.
If that’s not enough, 2025’s set to be the centre’s “biggest year for store openings since 2008”, Grosvenor said.
But for now, Liverpool One announces the arrival of Miniso, Bath & Body Works and Boux Avenue, opening in adjacent units in the former Victoria’s Secret store, as the US intimates giant relocates and reinvests in the destination.
Rapidly-expanding global lifestyle brand Miniso has chosen a 3,000 sq ft site to make its city debut, stocked with brand’s wide selection of popular Japan-inspired ‘blind boxes’, collectables, plushes and beauty products.
Also, personal care brand Bath & Body Works is also making its city debut early next year in a 3,000 sq ft unit. The store will stock the brand’s extensive selection of personal care products, candles, and seasonal collections.
Longstanding Liverpool One brand Boux Avenue is also returning to South John Street from its temporary home on Peter’s Lane, having relocated to accommodate Zara’s upsize. The new 3,000 sq ft space will showcase the brand’s full range of lingerie, nightwear, loungewear, sportswear, dresses, and swimwear.
Marking one of Victoria’s Secret’s first new concept stores in its nationwide rollout, the brand has launched its new 4,000 sq ft store. Recommitting to Liverpool One, the new space “delivers the reinvigorated brand’s” collection of lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear and athleisure, alongside a collection of fragrances and bodycare.
And those 2025 “biggest year” plans? It said South John Street will welcome French beauty giant Sephora’s city debut and TFG London’s 12,000 sq ft multi-brand store, its largest yet, bringing together Hobbs, Phase Eight, Whistles, and Inside Story. Both are due to open next spring, followed by Uniqlo’s 25,000 sq ft flagship on Paradise Street.
