LIV Golf will be on a major UK TV network for the first time.
Starting with the second round of the first event in Riyadh, each of LIV Golf’s 14 tournaments will be shown on ITVX.
ITVX – which is ITV’s online streaming service – will serve as the primary platform for LIV Golf, delivering live and full coverage of every round of every tournament.
Selected live broadcasts, meanwhile, will be shown on ITV1 and ITV4.
There will also be a weekly highlights show, produced by LIV Golf, on ITV4.
The news comes just days after LIV Golf and Fox Sports announced a deal to broadcast the league in the United States.
Ron Wechsler, LIV Golf’s senior vice president of broadcast partnerships and programming strategy, said: “Our partnership with ITV represents a major milestone as we strive to bring LIV Golf to every corner of the world.
“With a premier sports broadcaster like ITV, we can ensure that more fans than ever will be able to access the excitement of the LIV Golf experience and connect with the world-class players, teams, and stories that make us a truly standalone global sports league.”
LIV Golf joins ITV’s sports portfolio, which includes the football World Cup and European Championship, rugby’s Six Nations and World Cup, and the Tour de France. ITV is also the home of England’s men’s and women’s international football teams.
“This is an exciting time for LIV Golf as we look ahead to the innovative 2025 season,” said Niall Sloane, ITV’s director of sport. “This partnership delivers free-to-air coverage for fans in the UK and we are delighted to welcome LIV Golf to ITV Sport.”
