Deep into a Northern Hemisphere winter, Kurt Geiger’s been joined by actress/model Emily Ratajkowsi to imagine a “scorching summer… in every sense of the word” and that means the launch of its spring footwear and accessories range today (27 January).

The pair have unveiled ‘Kurt’s Motel’, the brand’s latest collection and campaign concept “born to celebrate the arrival of the boldest ever spring collection for 2025”.

Set against a Palm Springs backdrop (photographed by Laura Coulson) The footwear and accessories retailer takes us on a trip to Kurt’s Motel for a “sun-drenched, mid-century getaway inspired by the glamorous vacations of the fifties and sixties”.

With the help of Ratajkowski, the campaign channels “colourful, summer radiance” with Kurt Geiger’s edit of bright and bold bags, shoes and pool-side swim and accessories.

The spring bag collection comprises luxury styles in a vibrant retro colour palette with pops of turquoise and coral alongside hints of more mellow brown and yellow.

The signature Kensington flap bag’s reinvented with styles featuring a giant ombre chain, a demure top handle alongside pieces adorned with a kaleidoscope of sequin flowers or jewels, strawberry-strewn blue and white tweed, pink patterned crochet or whip-stitched yellow print denim. 

The Kensington shopper, with a detachable clutch, has also been retooled in wooden beads while its newest addition, the Chelsea Hobo, comprises multi-coloured beads, animal prints and metallic gold with a statement chunky chain handle.

Onto the season’s statement footwear, this includes the 1960’s-style Chelsea scarf platform with a stripy espadrille heel or the ombré Pom-Pom ankle tie stiletto.

The collection combines “everything from studded gladiator sandals to full-throttle flatforms and moccasins with pom-pom details”. Also new for spring/summer is the Islington Runner, a retro style sneaker that comes in mix-and-match metallics, animal prints and sun-drenched candy colours.
