Have you heard of Jelly Roll? If you haven’t, you go check out some of his music.
It just so happens now the Kentucky Wildcats men’s and women’s basketball teams are among those to have met the artist who has soared in fame over the last few years.
Jelly Roll visited both of the teams Friday. With the stress of the season underway and both teams having commenced the year on a positive note, this should’ve been a welcome surprise.
Jelly Roll was born in Antioch, Tennessee. He won New Artist of the Year by the Country Music Association in 2023, so it has been quite a last 24 months for the 39-year-old.
Given his rising to fame, this was likely a pretty cool situation for the players, especially the several that might’ve been a big fan of his prior to Friday. Who know either maybe he made a few more fans after this as well.
