In the First Half

• Kentucky started Lamont Butler, Jaxson Robinson, Otega Oweh, Andrew Carr and Amari Williams.
  • Brandon Garrison was UK’s first substitution at the 16:32 mark.
• Oweh scored the first four points on drives to the basket.
• Kentucky led the entire game although Minnesota State narrowed the margin to one point, 18-17, with 9:31 remaining.
• Ahead 22-20, an 18-0 run – featuring three 3-pointers by Robinson – gave the Wildcats a double-digit cushion that they maintained the rest of the way.
• Sparked by 15 points from Robinson, Kentucky led 43-23 at halftime.
