Kenneth Cole announced on Thursday the appointment of Emily Cole as the American brand’s new executive vice president, women’s creative director and product strategy.
In her expanded role, Cole will fuel the growth of the company’s women’s division and lead product development across all current womenswear categories.
The designer will collaborate with the strategic partnership team to explore new categories, and she will continue to oversee the design direction and merchandising within the New York-based organization.
Cole will continue to report to Jed Berger, president, on all business matters and Kenneth Cole for all product creative. Kenneth Cole will continue to lead the overall creative and purpose driven mission and vision.
“Kenneth Cole welcomes Emily into this expanded role with great enthusiasm, confident that her leadership and creativity will drive the brand’s women’s division to new heights,” said the company in a statement.
The creative director first joined Kenneth Cole productions in 2022, holding several senior management positions including chief strategy and product officer.
“I am thrilled to be taking on the expanded role of Women’s Creative Director and to continue to help grow the women’s business. The brand has such a rich heritage from both a design and a social impact perspective, and I am excited to help steer it into the future,” said Cole.
