Jose Cordoba: Norwich City agree deal to sign Levski Sofia defender
“On the pitch, his combination of technical ability and athleticism gives him a great foundation, and we feel he still has big steps in his development to come.”
No details about the length of contract agreed with Cordoba, who made 90 appearances for Levski, have been disclosed.
“I see Norwich is like a family, and I was looking for something like that,” he said.
“The idea of the club and the feeling went directly to me and I felt that I had to make this choice.”
The Canaries were beaten in the Championship play-offs by Leeds United last month and were in need of defensive reinforcements after deciding to allow Ben Gibson, Dimitris Giannoulis, Sam McCallum and Danny Batth to leave.
