Digital wholesale giant Joor launched on Monday a new digital trade show designed to support French-based brands during the Olympics.
Dubbed ‘Passport To Paris,’ the initiative makes it easier than ever to navigate French fashion online and ensure a productive buying season.
Hosted on the dedicated Joor Passport platform until August 16, it features over 120 prestigious brands such as Celine, Chloé, American Vintage, Jacquemus, Y/Project, and Armor Lux.
“The Olympics in Paris is an exciting time for the French capital, but brings with it complexity for the traditional wholesale fashion schedule,” explained Amanda McCormick Bacal, SVP of marketing.
“Joor has launched the ‘Passport to Paris’ digital event to support brands and retailers facing challenges to their typical selling season in Paris. Hosted on the Joor Passport platform, this show provides our vast network of global retailers the ability to explore and shop the latest collections from French-based brands 24/7 from anywhere in the world.”
A key feature of the ‘Passport To Paris’ showcase is Joor’s ongoing partnership with Business France, the French Government agency specializing in export growth for SMBs and mid-sized French fashion companies.
Business France has extended its partnership with Joor for a second year to continue offering resources that develop and support global wholesale and export opportunities for French fashion brands. The latest Business France 2024 edition features 42 French brands, including Marine Serre, Yves Salomon, Ines De La Fressange, Soeur, and Andrew Gn.
To date, Joor Passport has hosted 95 fashion events, attracting over 450,000 retail visitors from 174 countries. On the brand side, nearly 9,000 brands have participated in Joor Passport events, with nearly 1 million products sold.
