Mother and baby brand JoJo Maman Bébé has appointed Mark Wright interim chief executive. He joins the at the end of October, succeeding Gwynn Milligan.
Wright previously worked with FatFace for over five years, most recently as chief operating officer. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Jack Wills and M&S.
Milligan joined JoJo Maman Bébé in 2017 as chief commercial director and was promoted to chief executive in 2022. She has also worked at Jaeger, ASOS, Reiss and Arcadia. Her next move hasn’t been divulged.
In a post on Linkedin, Wright said: “After 5.5 fantastic years, the sun is now setting on my time here at FatFace and it’s my turn to bid farewell.
“Last month, we successfully transitioned several core business operations to Next Total Platform and this week I will make my final drive down to Havant.
“There have been plenty of ‘trophy moments’ to celebrate and I feel privileged to have worked for this brand and I am very proud of the small part I have played in this chapter at FatFace.”
JoJo Maman Bébé was founded in 1993 by Laura Tenison who stepped down in 2022. That April, the business was acquired, partly by Next, which acquired 44% of the brand’s shares, with the other 56% acquired by investment companies managed or advised by hedge fund Davidson Kempner.
