The event, which brought together 12 teams, was a great success, with an impressive £3,896.50 raised to support the charity’s vital work. Dementia UK provides essential care and guidance to families dealing with the challenges of memory loss through its team of Admiral Nurses.
The day wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of the event’s sponsors: S & G Response Ltd, Morelli Group Ltd, Cunbar Paints, Sagar Insurances, Entegral, Carlac Ltd, Axalta, Enterprise, LKQ, and Blackthorn Repair Network. Thanks to their contributions, participants were able to enjoy a memorable day, with fun added by the many donated golf goodies.
Lee Shaw, Managing Director of James Alpe Ltd, expressed his gratitude, saying,
“It’s fantastic to see work providers, suppliers, colleagues, friends, and family come together to support our annual charity day. We are truly grateful for everyone’s involvement.”
A special moment came with an inspiring speech by Keith McIntosh, a volunteer representative from Dementia UK. His heartfelt words highlighted the importance of the charity’s role in supporting families affected by dementia, leaving a profound impact on those in attendance.
Despite the recent wet weather, the golf course remained in top condition, and the delicious food provided throughout the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Clitheroe Golf Club’s hospitality was exceptional, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic experience.
Congratulations to all the prize winners, and a final thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success.
