In Suffolk, the villages north of Ipswich included Westerfield, Witnesham and Coddenham.
Further north in Suffolk, more than 240 homes in Debenham and surrounding villages, and 86 homes along the A140 between Stonham Aspal and Wetheringsett have been affected.
In Norfolk, 557 homes have been without power in Reepham and Cawston, and a further 417 in villages between Aylsham and Coltishall.
To the west of the county, engineers were working to restore power to 368 homes between Welney and Upwell on the Cambridgeshire border.
