A ginormous £507m cruise ship has taken its passengers on its debut voyage.
The Majestic Princess has expanded its routes to South America as part of a 51-night cruise from Los Angeles, calling at 19 ports.
Named South America Grand Adventure, the Princess Cruises ship’s incredible new experience is made up of a series of itineraries, allowing passengers to see an array of beautiful landscapes.
The first trip sailed from Los Angeles to San Antonio, Chile – a desintation that definitely shouldn’t be overlooked.
For 18-nights, passengers got to see the sights of the Andes region including destinations in Mexico, Panama, Peru and Chile.
From Chile’s city of San Antonio, the huge vessel then sailed to Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a 16-night cruise to the regions of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
Boasting a blend of vibrant cultures – and crossing the many South American destinations – the cruise has offered travellers to see a significant number of remarkable sites.
And it doesn’t stop there, trip also includes a visit to Port Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands, an archipelago with stunning white sand beaches surrounded by beautiful blue seas.
From Buenos Aires to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passengers then got to explore destinations in Eruguay, Brazil and the Caribbean.
Those who were on board, truly experienced a treat.
From Uruguay’s capital, Montevideo, the ship sailed a 2300 mile stretch to Brazil’s capital, Rio De Janerio, where it made an overnight call before making its way to Fortaleza and travelling through the Caribbean with stops at Martinique and St. Kitts.
After a total of 19 ports of call visits, the 51-night adventure drew to an end at Port Everglades, on January 21.
However, for those who missed out, the Majestic Princess is back with another trip soon.
After two 14-night cruises in the gorgeous Caribbean, passengers will be able to onboard “a transatlantic crossing” on the way to Europe.
The ship will offer its first deployment in Europe, with a series of seven to ten night cruisies in the Mediterranean.
And in November 2025 the adventure makes a return, with prices starting at £7,399 per person.
