Coming off a 66-62 upset victory over the Dawn Staley-led South Carolina Gamecocks, the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team is back in action on Thursday night.
A 20-point, 11-rebound outing from Madison Booker helped the Longhorns to the stunning victory. In her Sophomore season, Booker averages a team-high 16.5 points per game. As a result, the Longhorns improved to 24-2 on the season.
The Wildcats boast a 19-3 record, good enough to rank No. 8 nationally, five spots below the No. 3 Longhorns. Kentucky comes off a surprising 66-57 loss to Ole Miss, and the lady Wildcats look to bounce back with a statement-making victory on Thursday night.
