Manchester United has enjoyed an encouraging start to 2025, losing just one of its seven matches — a run which included an impressive draw away to Liverpool and a penalty shoot-out win over Arsenal in the FA Cup.
The Red Devils are still well off the pace in the Premier League, though, and Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace is a clash between two teams that are firmly in the bottom half of the table.

United remains without Jonny Evans, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw, all of whom are yet to appear for the Red Devils in 2025. Adam Wharton and Matheus Franca are set to return to the squad after lengthy absences.
