The Wildcats come off the road after splitting SEC games with Georgia, an 82-69 loss, and Mississippi State (95-90 win) for back-to-back ranked matchups against No. 11 Texas A&M and No. 4 Alabama (Jan. 18). Kentucky is among the top title contenders in a deep, wide-open SEC and enters Tuesday’s game as one of seven teams with a 2-1 league record.

The Aggies are in that pack, as well, all chasing the SEC-leading trio of Auburn, Alabama and Ole Miss at 3-0. Texas A&M kicked off SEC play with wins over Texas (80-60) and No. 17 Oklahoma (80-78) before falling at home to No. 4 Alabama (94-88). That setback to the Crimson Tide snapped a nine-game winning streak that featured three ranked victories.
