Fair Shot is partnering with Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham United and Preston North End, who this season will each host friendly five-a-side matches and other challenges for their clubs’ fans, and Fair Shot FC, a team of refugees and people seeking asylum. Players from Fair Shot FC have all fled their home countries due to war or persecution: notably Afghanistan, Honduras, El Salvador, Syria and Sudan. Through these games, and the uniting power of football, Fair Shot aims to build a movement of fans towards a goal of fairness and compassion for refugees, and people seeking asylum in this country.
