From Aries through to Pisces, here’s what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

The first person who responds to an item that is advertised for sale will make a tempting offer. Don’t be too quick to accept. Whether it is a vehicle or piece of furniture you are selling, buyers will flock to your door later and you will get a far better price than you ever hoped for.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

A senior colleague will be ditching a commitment to put more money into upgrading your workspace. They want to focus on outcomes and not what they spend and may need to be reminded that a drab working environment can also have a negative impact on performance.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Refrain from getting into an argument. You’re tempted to retaliate when someone makes a remark that upsets you. This is the chance they have been waiting for to throw something you did in the past in your face. You always felt they held a grudge against you and now you know why.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

You have a big challenge ahead. In moments like this you will have to show a lot of strength and self-belief. A partner is supportive. You are on this journey together. They have seen you at your best and at your worst and they are always here to comfort and support you.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

Worrying over a strained relationship is taking a toll on your health. The more you dwell on feelings of guilt and remorse, the more stressed you are starting to feel. It isn’t easy to come to terms with the past. Forgiving yourself for the part you played is a start.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

A challenge will test your resilience. What you are up against will be physically and mentally draining. The fundamental question at the heart of this is how do you solve the problem? Are measures suggested going to be enough?

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

You could be on the way to spend the night with a relative or friend in another part of the country. This is your chance to meet new people and make new business contacts. You will soon be introduced to someone who will have a profound effect on your work.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

You will be happy to give your support to a friend or relative who is working on behalf of a local charity. Whether it is an over generous donation or volunteering to help organise a fundraiser, you will feel better for it. Are you single? A strong attraction to another volunteer will be hard to ignore.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

Take advantage of a quiet spell that allows you to work in peace. This is just a temporary respite before things get busy. Before you know it, your schedule will be packed and if you neglect tasks today, they will pile up and threaten to overwhelm you.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

It doesn’t matter what others might think, you have a right to privacy. An ex-partner seems to think they can still intrude in your life. If they don’t get the message that it is over, change the locks on your door. Be sure all online passwords have been updated.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

A community project will be looking for support from people in and around your neighbourhood. If you are interested, let others know about it immediately. Joining forces with like-minded people could be the start of resolving an issue that is close to your heart.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

There is no reason why you should be constantly busy. When things go quiet, take this opportunity to recharge your batteries. Someone will suggest you give them a helping hand but you have done plenty for them recently. It’s about time they managed on their own.
