British womenswear brand Hobbs is set to open a northeastern flagship store at Manchester’s Trafford Centre this autumn.
The ready-to-wear and occasionwear specialist will open a 4,000 sq ft store on the mall’s Upper Regent Crescent, featuring Hobbs’ mainline range, alongside exclusive limited-edition collections and petite ranges.
The opening coincides with Hobbs’ recent re-evaluation of its stores’ look and feel, “developing a modern and engaging store design concept that will be rolled out to future locations”, it said.
This new concept, crafted through close collaboration with Zebra design studio, “reflects a refined and contemporary aesthetic” to ensure the new stores are “visually appealing, functional, and customer centric”, while aligning with Hobbs London’s brand identity and values.
The Trafford Centre store will be Hobbs’ 63rd standalone store in the UK “that has seen the brand establish itself as the go-to store for workwear, tailoring, occasion-wear and elevated everyday pieces”.
Caraline Money, Global Retail Director at Hobbs, added: “Trafford Centre’s status as a premier and luxurious shopping destination aligns with Hobbs’ prestigious brand image and adds to the overall shopping experience for our customers. With high footfall and a wide catchment from across the region, we’re expecting to reach a broader audience, enhancing our presence in the North of England.”
