ROYAL KING (4.15 Huntingdon, nap)
Tom Ellis’ five-year-old has been running over hurdles since his arrival from France last year but chasing is his game. He ran in better contests than this at Auteuil over the bigger obstacles and looks very well handicapped for his British chasing debut. This two-mile trip holds no fears and he can take a big step forward under regular pilot Jack Andrews who takes off 3lb.
GAME COLOURS (2.05 Lingfield Park)
Has been out of the frame just once over hurdles and this looks an excellent winning chance. She went close in a decent handicap last time and drops back to novice level with the excellent Sean Bowen in the saddle.
SAXONIA (6.00 Newcastle, treble)
Has been found an ideal race to get off the mark by trainer Charlie Johnston. He has been knocking on the door and went down in a photo over this course and distance 12 days ago. That was in slightly stronger company.
DOUBLE OBAN (5.05 Lingfield, Lucky 15)
He’s a winning machine who has taken three of his past four along with a close-up second. He sticks to his favourite two-mile trip and he had six lengths in hand around here nine days ago.
