Thames Valley Police for Cherwell is responding to an incident outside Castle Quay in Castle Street, Banbury, today (February 27).
The force has issued a statement saying officers are supporting South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) with a “medical emergency” and there would be a heightened presence of officers in the area.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “Officers are currently on scene supporting South Central Ambulance Service with a medical emergency outside of Castle Quay, Banbury.
“The increased police presence does not relate to a crime and as such the wider public should not be concerned.”
The statement was made at about 12.20pm today, Thursday, February 27.
