Location – Somerset House, London plus remote working
Duration – This is a permanent role with 6 months’ probation.
Terms – c£65k per annum
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Head of Arts to lead our growing Arts Department in delivering significant arts projects in the public realm and developing public art strategies for UK and international clients. This is a senior management role, with responsibility for team delivery, business development and project planning across a diverse portfolio of world-class art commissioning and strategic projects. It sits alongside a Senior Arts Associate. The role would suit an individual with knowledge of the contemporary arts sector, interest working across multi-disciplinary projects, in representing Futurecity in a professional capacity and who has an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach to the arts.
The Head of Department is responsible for arts delivery projects and assigning resourcing to support multiple strategic work and project delivery, to assist the Business Manager and Founder on facilitating new business and preparing bid and RFP proposals. The role will entail leading an Arts Team to ensure they uphold the standard of delivery for the company. This role will include international travel.
