Haribo has revealed the opening date for its second store in Kent.
The confectionery giant will welcome the first customers to its new shop in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Greenhithe, at 10am on Wednesday, February 12.
Head of retail at Haribo UK, Rebecca Fox, said: “We cannot wait to welcome smiling shoppers to our newest retail store next week.
“Bluewater is already special for Haribo UK after we hosted the UK’s largest ball pit at the shopping centre in 2023.
“Now that we have a permanent presence, we look forward to creating moments of happiness for our customers all year round.”
The new branch will be Haribo’s 11th store in the country and will be selling familiar favourites, exclusive merchandise and there will be a pick ‘n’ mix station.
Centre director at Bluewater, James Waugh, added: “The initial announcement around the arrival of Haribo at Bluewater was met with huge excitement, so we are delighted to confirm it will be opening this month.
“The store is going to be a visual treat so there will be some fantastic photo opportunities. We are sure it will be a fantastic addition to our brand line up.”
The first 50 customers will receive a free goodie bag while other visitors chosen at random will win surprise giveaways throughout the week.
Shoppers will also be joined by Haribo’s Goldbear who will cut the ribbon to open the store.
The only other Haribo shop in Kent is at Ashford Designer Outlet.
