Fashion and watch brands have long been successful collaborators and the latest to join the list are two of London’s well-established names in their respective sectors.
A combination of British heritage and craftsmanship have bought Hackett London and Bamford London together to launch an exclusive limited edition watch that combines “the timeless British style of Hackett with the precision and innovation of Bamford”.
The target market for the limited edition timepiece is the “modern gentleman who appreciates craftsmanship and individuality”. And each piece “reflects a commitment to timeless design and traditional values… features bespoke details meeting the highest standards”, we’re told.
So the Swiss-made auto-wind Hackett x Bamford London GMT watch comes equipped with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 56 hours. Inspired by travel, the automatic 24-hour GMT hand, equipped with a internal rotating bezel, allows the user to view a distinct time zone.
Hackett London co-founder Jeremy Hackett, who has headed the busines for over 40 years, said: “I have always been passionate about watches and I think they are one of the few accessories that a gentleman can wear. So I’m delighted that Hackett has collaborated with Bamford.”
