As brands increasingly link up with charities, the ‘force-for-good’ fashion brand Scamp & Dude has named actress, author, podcaster (and CoppaFeel! charity patron) Giovanna Fletcher as an ambassador.
Specifically, Fletcher has joined the brand’s #SuperScarfMission, helping to donate a ‘Super Scarf’ to every woman starting chemotherapy across the UK, which it notes numbers around 60,000.
Designed in collaboration with Scamp & Dude founder Jo Tutchener Sharp, for every Super Scarf purchased, another is donated by the brand to a woman with cancer via its own hospital partners (numbering over 250, it says) across the UK.
Fletcher’s chosen design? Soft green with pink and black shadow leopard and lightning bolt print with green pom pom trim. “The mix of vibrant and impactful colours represent Giovanna’s vision for the scarf to spread joy to every woman it reaches”, the creator said.
“The Super Scarf Mission is simply us saying to people who are going through a really scary, tricky time: ‘We are here, we see you, we are with you in any capacity that we can be’,” the company said.
The Scamp & Dude x Giovanna Fletcher Super Scarf costs £40 and is available from 26 June from scampanddude.comand Scamp & Dude stores in Marlow, Edinburgh, Battersea Power Station and Manchester Trafford Centre.
Earlier this spring the company reported that it has been bucking the trend of the tough market with 32% sales growth in the past year.
