The new UK Gambling Minister, Baroness Twycross, is being welcomed to visit AGCs and FECs across the country by Bacta, after an initial meeting led by Bacta president John Bollom.

The minister was, says Bollom, receptive and positive about the business and wants to see it thriving. Initially, the minister is working through outstanding issues surrounding her new post but hopes to move on quickly from there.

Baroness Twyford, said John Bollom, was receptive to the association’s arguments on White Paper issues. The principal immediate targets for the delegation, as expressed to the minister, were for a review of stakes and prizes and an absence of increases in GMLD.
