This Bank Holiday weekend, 12,302 flights are scheduled to depart UK airports – equating to over 2.2 million seats.
Scheduled departures across the weekend Friday 23 August – Monday 26 August are also set to reach 94% of 2019 levels.
Across weekend, Heathrow Airport will see the largest number of departures, followed by Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Edinburgh.
The most popular international destinations for UK departures are projected to be Dublin, Amsterdam, Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga.
EasyJet is projected to be the largest airline during the weekend, followed by British Airways, Ryanair, Jet2 and TUI.
