It’s not been the ideal start to life in the top flight for Southampton – the Saints are without a win in their opening games, with one point to show for their efforts.
“We played some brilliant stuff in the first half hour [of the second half] but we didn’t take our chances to get that third goal and kill the game off.
“We’ve got to kill the game off and then someone gets sent off and it changes the whole game. It’s disappointing”
Asked about his future and how he responds to any disappointed fans, he said:
“I need to keep working and win a game of football, and I hope [the fans] will always turn up and support their team.”
